Steman păstrează cu discreție farmecul unei Gasthaus vieneze autentice, unde ritmul mesei rămâne calm, iar bucătăria austriacă este servită cu respect pentru tradiție și fără gesturi inutile. Atmosfera sa de cartier, elegant nepretențioasă, îl face relevant într-o Vienă contemporană care prețuiește tot mai mult locurile cu memorie, consistență și caracter local.
A local, traditional restaurant. Classic decor, local clientele. Good service. The Viennese snitzel was decent but unremarkable, while the equally traditional potato and mayonnaise salad was overpowering with its excessive vinegar. The beers were decent enough.
Came for lunch on a monday. Service was quick. Place began filling up but not too busy around noon. Lots of locals. Had the pork escalope with mushroom sauce and rice; it was incredibly delicious.
We had late lunch at this hidden restaurant right behind Mariahilferstrasse away from the busy crowds ,yet so close to the main shopping street. Enjoyed the traditional schnitzel, delicious! Fresh salad, yummie potatoes and bread! Comparing this schnitzel to other places, this is the best we had so far. Congrats!
