Café Dommayer, în Hietzing, păstrează eleganța discretă a cafenelei vieneze clasice, cu săli ample, vitrine de patiserie atent lucrate și ritmul calm al unui cartier cu memorie imperială. Asociat cândva cu tradiția muzicală a familiei Strauss, locul rămâne astăzi o adresă pentru un mic dejun tihnit, o cafea prelungită sau o felie de tort servită cu acea precizie relaxată specific vieneză.
Great food and superb decor! We had the traditional austrian consommé with slice crepes and the snitzel was perfect, a glass of Riesling to go with it, just perfect. Staff is accommodating and prompt. We went after to buy a few boxes of chocolates from their shop inside, they have different flavours and the chocolate is simply divine.
Top Vienesse café. Beautiful atmosphere of a genuine vienese cafe. All the food was excelent 🙂 Highly recommendet it and look forward to next visit 🙂
We came to try the Sachertorte & while we weren't big fans (it was quite dry unfortunately), we absolutely loved the other cakes we tried – the strawberry and lemon one. 🍋🍓 The atmosphere is very elegant but cozy at the same time & is a great place to take a break from a busy day.
