Figlmüller i Bäckerstraße er en institusjon der wienerschnitzelen får spille hovedrollen – tynn, sprø og servert med den selvsikre enkelheten bare gamle byhus kan bære. Stemningen er livlig og tett på, med en klassisk serveringskultur som fortsatt føles presis og nåtidig. Et stoppested som sier noe ekte om Wiens forhold til tradisjon: høyt tempo, høy standard og null fakter.
This was our first experience with Viennese cuisine, and it was surprisingly delightful—especially the beef soup served with pancakes. We weren’t informed that ketchup and mustard would incur a charge when requested, but with our happy, full stomachs and the quality of the food, it wasn’t a concern. Overall, highly recommended!
