Café Goldegg interpreta il caffè viennese con un’eleganza sobria e contemporanea: legni chiari, luce morbida e un ritmo cittadino che invita a restare. È un indirizzo amato per colazioni curate, caffè ben estratto e torte della tradizione, perfetto per osservare Vienna mentre scorre con discrezione e stile.
Great dining environment with good food at a fairly reasonable price. The menu also has a good variety of both local Viennese and general breakfast items. Staff were good and got the job done in a professional manner, but the speed of service can get a little slow at times. It's not a mind blowing spot, but it definitely gets the job done!
We were advised to visit as it was close the where we stayed. The food was good, weirded both the traditional breakfast and something more, let's say, attractive and complicated. The coffees though were great. Really worth it. The service was attentive. The problem is that we were seated in a very tiny table that could not enjoy our breakfast. Also, the place needs some maintenance.
This place is really worth going to if and only if you have the right waiter serving you! We have had so many nice brunches here, but also some awful ones simply because we were served by the one waiter with the glasses who normally works in the room at the back. He made us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. From now on, if we see him we just avoid the cafe all together. The manager lady is really lovely though…
