The place is incredible. I’m in love with it. I took a Viennese breakfast and my husband ordered an English one. Everything was so yummy. Thank you, we enjoyed a lot ❤️❤️❤️
Au Café Engländer, l’esprit du café viennois se fait plus urbain : un comptoir vivant, une salle feutrée, et cette aisance discrète qui invite à s’attarder. On y vient pour un café impeccablement mené, quelques classiques bien tenus, et surtout pour observer Vienne dans son quotidien — élégante, pressée, puis soudain immobile.

This place is very popular with locals not only because of its location! They have great desserts and traditional dishes and the place itself is quite cosy too!
The food is excellent, but don't get fooled by the name. It's a restaurant, not really a café. Place gets jammed easily and can get really really loud sometimes. It feels like an elite place sometimes. Prices quite above average and in typical Austrian fashion you may have to wait a bit before a waiter notices your existence.
