Lovely cafe inside the Gloriette with a very airy interior. Cakes are delicious and service is very friendly. The setting is beautiful and there's a large outdoor seating area. Indoors can be hot in the summer. Once you've made it all the way up here, it's a great place to stop, have some cake and coffee and take it all in. Beautiful setting.
5 stars for desserts, 3.5 stars for coffee (pretty average), and 5 stars for service—the staff were cracking jokes and keeping us in great spirits! The environment is absolutely amazing. If you visit Schönbrunn Palace, you must try having coffee at the Gloriette. It's a wonderful experience!
Cafe Gloriette is a must visit if you like cake and a grand view of the opulance of the Schöbrunn Palace and gardens as well as the city of Vienna. The cafe interior is exquisite with enormous windows and decorated walls and ceiling. A lovely experience. Try the Sisi torte & Gloriette torte!
