Albert is definitely top 5 in Vienna! Extraordinary international & creative food with a twist. I love the drinks as well and the wine menu is well balanced from classics to a modern choice. The recommendations from the service matches most of the time. Great art on the walls and very high ceilings are forming an international but also cosy flair. Do it!
Albert is a small restaurant, actually it is more a bar than a restaurant, and the noisy, crowded atmosphere may not be to everyone's liking. However, the St. Martin's goose I had was excellent, and the dishes I saw other people eating looked creative and appetizing.
The ultimate neighborhood restaurant! We met the lanky and loquacious owner on a Thursday at the legendary Urbanek and made reservations for the following night.
