I've tried Tafelspitz and it was really delicious. The staff was really polite and kind. The restaurant designed nice and traditionally from the inside, and it's located under the City Hall (which is pretty cool). Köszönjük a vendéglátást! (from Hungary)
Beneath the Neo-Gothic grandeur of Vienna’s City Hall, Wiener Rathauskeller offers a distinctly civic take on classic Viennese cooking—hearty, precise, and served in atmospheric vaulted rooms that feel both historic and quietly theatrical. It’s an ideal address for tasting the city’s culinary canon in its most ceremonial setting, where tradition remains part of Vienna’s contemporary rhythm rather than a museum piece.
Visitor impressions
Rathauskeller left a great impression on me. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food hit the spot, but the real charm of the place comes from the people who work there. Thomas and Omar bring an energy that makes every guest feel valued and comfortable.
The restaurant under the city hall is really beautiful! I didn't have time to eat, there are many different styles of restaurants and meals to offer
