A wonderful, quiet, and cozy place. Exceptional service (thanks to Veronica). Delicious and beautiful food.
Vestibül sits elegantly within the Burgtheater, where velvet-lined grandeur meets a distinctly contemporary Viennese table. Come for polished Austrian cooking with a modern hand—best enjoyed before the curtain rises or long after, when the city’s cultural tempo feels most alive.
Visitor impressions
This place is excellent! I love the atmosphere here, it's very quiet and the decor is lovely. However, I wish they played some soft classical music in the background. Though some plates disagreed with my palette, I could still tell they were masterfully crafted and put together with care. The service is what you would expect at a Michelin guide restaurant. If you want to try a unique take on traditional Viennese…
The decor is very nice and the staff is very friendly. No complaining on that end. I do feel that, while it is good, the food was overpriced. We paid about 100 euros per person just for the 5 course meal. The portions were quite small because I think they are the same as the 7 and 9 course meals. It is not a bad restaurant I just think you can get better value for money.
