Das Häuserl am Stoan pflegt die Wiener Wirtshauskultur mit einer wohltuenden Unaufgeregtheit: bodenständig, saisonal und mit Sinn für das Wesentliche. I really loved the atmosphere — it’s such a beautiful place with a charming vibe. The food was good, traditional Austrian dishes, and the wine was truly excellent. The staff were friendly and polite. It’s a lovely spot, especially if you go with family. You definitely need to book a table in advance during weekends or springtime, as it gets very busy and some dishes might sell out. I really enjoyed it.
On my way of hiking along the stadtwandegweg 2, my nose caught the good smell of food. Its a cozy place with outdoor table and a nice overview of the city. With all the restaurant I passed by seems they have a reasonable price. Friendly staff for my not so good Deutsch. Its not my regular schweinbraten Styrian style but it was good and not salty. Be a little patient when they are busy😉
This is a nice and comfy local with kind staff. You can either eat inside or outside if the weather is good, which I really recommend. The food is really tasty and the portions are big. You can try traditional Austrian cuisine, I can recommend “knödel”, it’s really good. The prices are not high. I can recommend this place and I’m sure I’ll come back.
