I can’t even say how lovely they were — they brought water for my dog! Everything was perfect, and I had the best cake and coffee I could possibly find in Vienna.
Das Café Restaurant Oktogon am Himmel verbindet die stille Weite des Wienerwaldes mit einer Küche, die klassische Wirtshausnoten zeitgemäß ausbalanciert. In der markanten Oktogon-Architektur trifft man sich nach dem Spaziergang auf der Terrasse mit Blick über die Stadt – ein Ort, an dem Wien kurz aus dem Zentrum tritt und gerade deshalb so gegenwärtig wirkt.

Enjoyed the sun indoor it was amazing! Had beer and apple juice With Ramsons soup , lentil and potato. Something new to try and it was delicious! 🤤 Staff were friendly , the atmosphere is sunny 🌞
The view is amazing and worth coming here at least once. It's always quite crowded, but you can always find a free table quickly. You'll probably have to wait quite a while for a waiter, but the staff are very pleasant and polite, and the coffee and food are of good quality.
