We came here for a late dinner/snack. Kitchen was closed. Staff pulled together charcuterie, bread and spreads. Drinks were wonderful. Decor is eclectic. So happy we found this place.
Bruder – Küche & Bar verbindet unangestrengte Urbanität mit einer Küche, die sich ebenso präzise wie verspielt zeigt: kleine, klug komponierte Teller, die den Abend in Etappen erzählen. In der Bar trifft Wiener Gelassenheit auf zeitgemäße Cocktailkultur – ein Ort, an dem man später bleibt als geplant, ohne dass es je laut wirken muss.

I don’t know what to call a kitchen that in the same menu includes trout with rhubarb on rice, a very classic bratwurst - well, with anchovy on top, and sweet poppyseed-flavoured udon noodles with a fortune cookie? Österreich goes further östlich? Anyway, who cares about the labels when the food tastes good and yet succeeds to surprise and entertain you a bit? It was somewhat unfortunate that I dropped in on the day…
We had a great evening at Bruder. We opted for the 6 course chef's choice menu and it was amazing, inventive dishes, all with an interesting twist and everything was simply delicious. Longdrinks were also extraordinary and special. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Will definitely recommend this place!
