Gasthaus Buchecker & Sohn je vídeňská instituce, kde se klasická hostinská kultura podává s přirozenou noblesou a bez zbytečného divadla. V interiéru s tichým šarmem tradičních „Stüberl“ vyniká poctivá kuchyně postavená na sezónnosti a řemesle – přesně ten typ místa, kam Vídeňané chodí pro chuť, klid a kontinuitu. Je to nenápadně současná Vídeň: respekt k tradici, ale s lehkostí dneška.

It was our first meal in Vienna and we didn't know what to expect or compare with, but everything was delicious. Big portions, clasic food and the waitresses were kind and welcoming
If you want an authentic Viennese experience, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is the one of a traditional Austrian family house, the hosts are very welcoming, food is delicious and prices are fair. We tried the soup (big enough for two people!) and the beef tartare, and we cannot recommend this enough. We will be sure to come back on our next visit to Vienna!
