Kornat je už přes tři desetiletí diskrétní vídeňskou institucí, kde se dalmatská kuchyně čte moderně, aniž by ztratila svou adriatickou důstojnost. V útulném sklepním prostoru se podává ryba v prvotřídní čerstvosti – od grilu přes brodetto a scampi buzaru až po rizoto z chobotnice, s nezaměnitelným podpisem kuchyně. Vínní lístek vede z Istrie do Dalmácie a dává večeru kultivovanou hloubku, která ve Vídni působí přirozeně současně.

Good food, but the service felt inconsistent. We booked a table in advance since this spot is popular on weekends. While the service was generally "good," the experience felt a bit unequal. We noticed other tables being shown their cooked ready fish before it was gone back to the kitchen ,so the fish will be presented on the plate clean from bones—a nice touch that we unfortunately weren't offered. Came across this restaurant by chance. Were were instantly given a table though we had no reservation. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, from the bread basket, olive oil and olives, oysters, ceviche and risotto I have one more day in Vienna and would not hesitate to go there again!
I don’t know.. something about the food in this place is a little bit lacking for me. For example, the olive oil is amazing but the olives were way too salty in my opinion. The fact that they have shrimp carpaccio is great (not so easy to find in Vienna) but they didn’t feel very fresh.
