Nice cozy place, literally only 8 indoor tables so highly recommend making reservations though there is some outdoor seating as well. Service was nice and fast. The goulash and kaiserschmarrn were delicious.
«Zur eisernen Zeit» عنوانٌ فييناويّ كلاسيكي يحافظ على روح الحانة التقليدية بوقارٍ هادئ، حيث الخشب الداكن والزوّار الدائمون ينسجون إيقاع المكان اليومي بلا تكلّف. هنا يتقدّم المطبخ النمساوي كما ينبغي: أطباقٌ صادقة تُحترم فيها التفاصيل، مع لمسة معاصرة خفيفة تعكس فيينا التي تعرف كيف تُجدّد نفسها من دون أن تتخلى عن ذاكرتها.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👍👍👍 This is the most lovely restaurant I had visited in Vienna. The atmosphere is very homey, and the waiter was polite and helpful. Every dish I ordered was great. They serve the traditional Austrian food like many other restaurant, but somehow they made it much more unique and memorable. Their Kaiserschmarrn was super fluffy and tasted amazing.
A perfect spot on a freezing evening, in a down to earth, small restaurant with rustic furnishings and serving hearty Austrian dishes. One of the two or three places in the naschmarkt that was opened for dinner in January. Excellent sweet potato soup which was a novelty to me. And a filling, lung and heart ragout, a.k.a. comfort food to me with two bread dumplings, accompanied by a glass of the house red Zweigelt.
