Had a lovely dinner here! Of course we had to get Wiener Schnitzel when in Vienna! We had it with berry compote, and it tasted absolutely amazing. The portions are really big as well. It has a great atmosphere, as it is located in a small square. Lugeck turned out to be a pleasant surprise for us. Although it's a very touristy restaurant, which sometimes affects the quality of the dishes, all the dishes we ordered were very good. The appetizers were very tasty, and the steaks were cooked to order, medium-rare. The meat was dry-aged, which always gives it a better flavor. The waitstaff was very good, and the prices were adequate for the location and quality.
A relatively large portion of veal schnitzel – in my opinion, it can easily be shared by two people. The schnitzel was served with an excellent potato salad! It also came with jam on the side; I personally didn’t like with the combination, but some people enjoy it.
