Traditional coffee house with not to many tourists like us! Service was by a frazzled through overwork gentleman that had not completed the smiling course. Cake and coffee priced just short of the four seasons hotel chain

Old Viennese cafe with nice interior. Somehow I never cared for this place as it’s oddly not as cosy as the other old cafes in the area. The waiters aren’t friendly but that shouldn’t be surprising in this city. Food was quite nice though and I think if the staff realise you’re not a tourist, then they end up being slightly friendlier.
We stopped by Café Frauenhuber for coffee and Apfelstrudel with vanilla sauce, and it was absolutely heavenly. The strudel was warm, perfectly baked, and full of flavor, and the coffee was excellent. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed – a wonderful place to sit back and enjoy a quiet moment in a historic setting. What really surprised us, in the best possible way, was the service.
